We are big fans of Soulful music and the many singers whom, through the years, represented this genre.
Amongst them, Bill Withers. For those of you who do not know who Bill Withers is, check out this link for his classic tune “Lovely Day”.

Marcus Pearson and Oscar P. from Open Bar Music have recently done a cover of this tune and we had the pleasure of remixing it.
Check out the original Bill Withers – Lovely Day and then our Stereo Martini (Stirred Remix of the 2011) version of Lovely Day – this song sounds sweet on the dance floor! Available on Beatport! hmmm hmmm

New web video of our remix of Matt Dusk jazz track “Feels Good”. He’s is without a doubt in our minds, one of Canada’s most entertaining crooners and a great singer.
Check it out…
Imagine for a second that you own a Ferrari. That impressive piece of automotive technology, capable of amazing speed and grace.
Imagine that it’s all beauty on the outside, shiny, elegant, your favourite colour.
Imagine the sound of the engine, crisp and powerful. That enticing sonic boom upon start up.
Hope everyone is having an amazing start to the new year. 2011 definitely looks like a very very very busy year up ahead and we thank so many people for making it so.
The new year’s eve gig at Liberty Grand in Toronto was fantastic. Got to play with DJ Undercover in the artifact room and we decided to do a back and forth thing which worked amazingly well. We split sets all through the night.
Exciting!… the feedback we’re receiving from DJs worldwide is fantastic!.
Our mix of Matt Dusk’s “Feels Good” seems to be by far the winner!
We had dinner with Matt recently and we’re all pumped up about the reception this single is receiving. From Europe to the U.S. looks like this track just works great on the dance floor.
On behalf of Stereo Martini, we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
It’s a time to spend with family and friends, enjoying each other’s company and appreciating the simpler things in life.
And don’t forget to pump up the stereo and listen to them funky house beats.
Enjoy yourselves, and don’t drink and drive.

Whether writing a song from scratch, or remixing an established artist, the process of being creative in the studio can be daunting at first.
How can one come up with fresh ideas constantly? How can we sound original and not like everyone else? what will set us and our music apart?
Often, these are questions that we answer organically. Happens naturally. It’s just a little “spark” of inspiration that will guide us in one direction or another.
The other day we came to realize that now that the first batch of singles are in preview mode, them becoming a hit it’s a bit out of our hands.
We’ll still promote them of course, and we intent to take them as far as we can, within our means, as we have spent a lot of time, effort, money, sweat, tears, liquor, blood, sleepless nights, gone through divorce, trips, travels, etc, etc, etc. following our passion of making music.
