HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well, another year is almost gone.

This year has been a very good year for us, not only did we spend it building a solid foundation for the amazing 2011 we are planning to have, but also it represented the crystallization of many of our plans.

-We’ve completed our brand new Studio.
-We’ve completed TONS!! of new original tracks and remixes, just primed for release in the new year.
-We’ve collaborated and remixed a good spectrum of artists in house, electronica, latin and pop. (more on that later)
-We’ve redesigned the website.
-We’ve got a promotions company starting to push our product.
-We’ve got a booking agent and management starting to do the leg work, so we can concentrate on making more music and live performances.

DO BELIEVE THE HYPE!

Exciting!… the feedback we’re receiving from DJs worldwide is fantastic!.
Our mix of Matt Dusk’s “Feels Good” seems to be by far the winner!

We had dinner with Matt recently and we’re all pumped up about the reception this single is receiving.  From Europe to the U.S. looks like this track just works great on the dance floor.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

On behalf of Stereo Martini, we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
It’s a time to spend with family and friends, enjoying each other’s company and appreciating the simpler things in life.

And don’t forget to pump up the stereo and listen to them funky house beats.
Enjoy yourselves, and don’t drink and drive.
Cheers all.

INSPIRATION

Whether writing a song from scratch, or remixing an established artist, the process of being creative in the studio can be daunting at first.
How can one come up with fresh ideas constantly?  How can we sound original and not like everyone else?  what will set us and our music apart?

Often, these are questions that we answer organically. Happens naturally. It’s just a little “spark” of inspiration that will guide us in one direction or another.

LADY LUCK

The other day we came to realize that now that the first batch of singles are in preview mode, them becoming a hit it’s a bit out of our hands.

We’ll still promote them of course, and we intent to take them as far as we can, within our means, as we have spent a lot of time, effort, money, sweat, tears, liquor, blood, sleepless nights, gone through divorce, trips, travels, etc, etc, etc. following our passion of making music.

ORGANIC ELECTRONICA

This is no bull shit.  We’ve coined this term. So no, you can’t use it without crediting us.  *lol*

Gerard came up with it in one of our Skype conversations with America Olivo to describe the sound we were pursuing for her album.

Alonso thought it was more like bullshitting our way out of a mix we had done (ha ha!), but we all kinda saw the point G was tying to make.  Thus it was agreed.

So here it is: – Our definition of Organic Electronica.

LOTS OF WORK

Man, we are BUUUUSSSYYY!!!…
Check this out.  On the go:

1. A preview of three singles has just recently been released to DJs worldwide.  (if you’re a DJ and want to get copies, email us at info@stereomartini.com).

These singles feature Matt Dusk (Feels Good)Tika Simone (Touch the Sky – a collaboration with Marko Bongo), and Storm Newton (On My Own)

Also, these three singles come accompanied by no less than 18 different remixes – So DJs get 21 tracks total – Enough to get your clubs, or beach parties pumping.

MEDIA SERVICES NYC TO PROMOTE PREVIEW OF SINGLES

Yup, Media Services NYC, lead by Oscar Poche and his crew have started to promote the previews of our singles, and distributing the tracks to DJs.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO SOMETHING RIGHT?

We’ve been thinking about this for years.

Stereo Martini did not take one week to develop, nor one month, nor one year.

It’s been a few years since the original idea started, and we’ve taken our time to make sure that most aspects of what we do are 100 percent to our satisfaction.  Everything from the logo itself, to the few photo shoots, to the web designs, etc has been carefully planned and thought through.
